Cabbage Hashbrowns
Cabbage Hashbrowns
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
1 large egg
½ teaspoon granulated garlic
¼ teaspoon sweet paprika
¼ teaspoon salt
Fresh ground black pepper
Pinch of ground nutmeg
2 cups shredded cabbage
¼ small Vidalia onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg, granulated garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper and nutmeg.
Add the shredded cabbage and sliced onions. Toss to combine.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and heat.
Divide the mixture into 4 patties in the pan; press to flatten with a spatula.
Cook for 3-4 minutes. Gently flip and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes, until golden brown and tender. Transfer to plates and serve.
